Funds For Projects (“FFP”) specializes in providing financial solutions to companies and developers in need of funding outside the scope of traditional banks and lenders. Our streamlined process and extensive experience, guarantees fast and smooth transactions.

FFP requests a brief description of the project or venture (Executive Summary). If there is interest in the project, FFP will enter into a Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreement with the project principals. Subsequent to such execution, the due diligence process begins.

When the company does not have the proper documentation, FFP can suggest one of our partner agencies  with the project principals supplying all information, however acceptance of the company for funding can not be given until the documents are accepted.

FFP consults to companies so they can have access to Investors all over the world however our own funds are only invested in Colombia, S.A.

Now more than ever, investors are looking for alternative sources to invest their capital. Investors everywhere are a powerful engine for growth for companies looking for capital to start, grow or expand.

FFP provides a perfect solution for both segments of this market to find each other under one platform  and our investors are looking to provide funding from US $10,000,000 to over $500,000,000 for their investment portfolios

The type of funding that can be provided is:

Equity, debt or a combination of both for:

                                                                Property improvements

Although we are open to many industries our current interests are focused on the following sectors:

                                                                Real Estate

                                                                Alternative energy

The minimum funding amount is $10 MM in USA and internationally is $50MM, although we prefer larger projects. We can structure funding as long term debt, equity or some hybrid of the two.

We look for an initial capital contribution from the principals of each project we fund, anywhere from 5% to 20%. We look for projects that make sense, have a great upside potential and those that have strong and seasoned management teams.

We look at projects in North and South America. Our process typically takes between 60-120 days for completion of funding predicated on the speed in which our clients provide the necessary documentation to us.

We complete an initial needs analysis of each project submitted to make sure that the project fits our funding parameters and timelines. We can schedule funding over several tranches or phases if it is better suited for our clients and the overall betterment of the project. We pride ourselves on giving a quick “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” on the project  so that we do not waste any time and to be able to properly manage expectations.

We utilize our professional partners to advise and assist in not only the funding process but also the continuing operations of the project. In many cases we can leverage our relationships to bring a greater value to company that we are providing funding for. We like to believe that we are “value-added” funders. Our goal is not just to fund a project but rather to develop long term relationships with our clients to take care of all their financial needs, present and future.

To submit a project for our review we initially require the following:

  1. 1.An Executive Summary of the project and track records of the management team (Max. 20 pages)

  2. 2.A detailed Use of Funds and draw down schedule

  3. 3.3-5 year Proformas

Upon review of the above we will contact you to further discuss the project, our interest and request additional information for our due diligence. In most cases we will require an on-site visit as part of our due diligence process.

We do not fund ideas nor projects were a substantial cash investment by the principals has been done.
